JLV pulleys utilize a stress-balanced design that matches stresses and deflections of all pulley components. This virtually eliminates stress concentrations in the pulley, the usual cause of failures.

MTD pulley

Our Mine-Duty Turbo-Disc (MTD) pulley features:

  • Solid-plate end discs
  • Near full-penetration weld between end discs and rim
  • B-LOC B106 or B106-IN keyless locking elements
  • Cold-rolled shafting without turn-downs or hot-rolled material with turned and polished transitions
  • Hot vulcanized and machined lagging
  • Static balancing of pulley assembly

TD pulley

Our Turbo-Disc (TD) pulley features:

  • One-piece machined turbo-shaped end discs
  • Near full-penetration weld between end discs and rim
  • B-LOC B106 or B106-IN keyless locking elements
  • Hot-rolled or forged shafting with turned and polished transitions on turn-downs
  • Machined pulley outside diameter as required per application
  • Hot vulcanized and machined lagging
  • Static balancing of pulley assembly

TB pulley

Our T-Bottom (TB) pulley features:

  • One-piece “T” shaped end discs
  • 100% full penetration weld between end discs and rim
  • B-LOC B115 or B112 keyless locking elements
  • Hot-rolled or forged shafting with turned and polished transitions on turn-downs
  • Machined pulley outside diameter as required per application
  • Hot vulcanized and machined lagging
  • Static balancing of pulley assembly

DS pulley

Our Dead-Shaft (DS) pulley with internal bearings features:

  • Cost-effective and lighter pulley design possible
  • Spherical roller bearings or bearing cartridges
  • Through-shaft lubrication
  • Alignment-free installation
  • Support pedestals sized to replace pillow blocks
  • Adjustable support centers
  • Proven design for belt speeds up to 1,500 ft./min

Wing-type pulley

Our wing-type pulleys are utilized in wet and sticky applications. By their design, these pulleys shed material that can adhere to the belt causing excess belt and component wear and conveyor misalignment. These pulleys are available in a variety of diameters and belt widths.

Spiral-type pulley

Our spiral-type pulleys are utilized in wet and sticky applications where the material can adhere to the belt causing excess belt and component wear and conveyor misalignment. These pulleys utilize a traditional drum-type pulley with a welded-on spiral design that sheds wet and sticky material to the end of the pulley. These pulleys are available in a variety of diameters and belt widths.
