The P&H 11-inch Delta Conversion for Bucyrus 495 series shovels incorporates proven low maintenance design features available on P&H 4100 series electric mining shovels. The increased width of the roller path reduces contact stress, prolonging the life of the lower work components.
The Delta (Deep Engaging Long-Life Track Assembly) system offers smoother operation, lower track tension and lower stress, resulting in extended component life and reduced down time compared to other manufacturers' lower works. the 11-inch Delta tumbler, lower rollers, idlers and pin-on guide rails can be installed in existing 495 series side frames.
