Komatsu partnered with 4Souls Foundation for a winter shoe drive initiative. The initiative encouraged employees to donate school shoes for disadvantaged local children who often go to school with torn shoes or sometimes even barefoot.

4Souls Foundation is a non-profit organization that addresses and sustains educational needs of the under privileged communities in the greater Johannesburg area.  

In June 2017, Komatsu employees went to Orange Farm (Vulindlela Primary School) to present the school shoes to the students. The kids were delighted and excited to receive new shoes and socks.

The school, together with the 4Souls Foundation, expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the support Komatsu and its employees gave towards the initiative.
