The LRE3 remote evaporator unit is designed to fit any P&H Gen 1 wheel loader cab (legacy LeTourneau machines). The LRE3 combines with a 24VDC electric drive Mine Air RCC condensing unit to create a split system that replaces the existing hydraulic HVAC unit to provide improved performance and reliability.

Ideal for multiple machines

The RCC is ideal for installation on a wide variety of mobile, diesel-powered mining equipment, including haul trucks, dozers, and loaders. The RCC is designed to tie into the existing OEM air conditioning system, utilizing the existing dash-mounted evaporator coil, blower, ducting, and vents.

Coupled with the Mine Air RCC unit, the LRE3 provides the operator with more control of the HVAC system. Field testing has shown an increase in cooling and heating capacity, resulting in increased operator comfort and satisfaction.

Downtime can be drastically reduced by replacing your existing HVAC system with proven Mine Air products. The RCC unit provides superior performance due to the elimination of belt, hydraulically-driven compressors, hosing, brackets and exposed condenser.

The LRE3 and RCC system utilizes a pre-charged refrigerant line set with quick disconnects on either end, pre-charged LRE3 and pre-charged RCC. This eliminates the need for a certified HVAC technician during installation or major component exchange as no refrigerant is lost. Due to the modularity of the system, major components can be changed out in as little as 0.5 hours with proper training. This results in higher load availability, which can lead to higher production.
