The Joint Committee on Hygiene and Safety (Comite Paritario Higiene y Seguridad (CPHS)) at the Komatsu Mining Santiago, Chile office donated 40 computers to local schools recently.
The committee donated 22 laptops to the Mery Graham high school (approximately 120 kilometers from Santiago) to help them create a special mathematics lab. In addition, the committee donated 18 laptops to Colegio Bordemar in Valparaiso (approximately 123 kilometers from Santiago). The Colegio Bordemar provides free education for primary, high school and adult students.
The committee would like to give special thanks to Luis Atencio and the IT group for preparing the laptops for donation and Joaquin Garcia from CPHS for organizing the donation program.
