In 2017, Peru suffered a series of natural disasters that devastated the country. Incessant rains, flooding and mudslides plagued the coastal and mountain areas. Over 70 people died, 100,000 were left homeless and over 140,000 homes were damaged. The following pictures show the extent of the damage.
To help their countrymen, our Peru offices banded together and initiated a campaign to support the victims. The teams raised a significant amount of money which they used to buy food. This food was donated to Caritas of Peru in Lima and Arequipa, to be delivered to the disaster victims.
