Over the past few months, so much has changed. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted nearly every corner of the world. The loss of lives has been overwhelming, and we’ve all struggled with what has become our “new normal.”
School instruction, conferences, and even socializing with friends has become more virtual. And, Komatsu training is becoming more virtual too.
We know that your time, safety and budget are factors — even more so now — that’s why we are offering Komatsu’s mining operator training virtually. From e-learning to remote webinars, our courses are available to you and your team, where ever you are.

Our virtual training is taught by the same group of experienced Komatsu instructors so your mining operators feel like they’re here at the factory. Our instructors use a variety of delivery tools like Webex and Microsoft Teams so your mining operators can do almost everything, except touch the machine.
In addition to our mining operator training, Komatsu also has a wide selection of e-learning course titles that we offer through our enterprise learning management system. We use SuccessFactors, powered by SAP, and the platform allows us to track the progress of all of your training.
We’re also looking ahead and developing the next generation of virtual Komatsu mining operator training. This next-gen training includes mixed reality, see-what-I-see, and video-based learning.
Is your team ready to get in on the virtual action and upskill? Komatsu lets you mix and match courses to create a customized training program that’s right for your team; we can even build a course just for you.
We’re excited to work with you to build a mining operator training program that’s right for you. To learn more or to schedule a training event, contact your local Komatsu service office or visit our Product Training page.
